12 for 2012

I’m starting this year with a clean slate.  No looking to last year and adding those things not finished to start out 2012.  Hopefully changing habits in a more purposeful way will lead to more success.

feet So here’s my list of resolutions-12 in 2012

  • Be mindful in my personal life each and every day
  • Have a weekly IRL girlfriend connection
  • TV-Less = More! {Do I really want to watch some crazy housewives yell at each other?}
  • Become more engaged in my blogging community
  • Continue to cut energy consumption
  • Take a big chunk out of household consumption
  • Visit 12 cities I've never been to
  • Crank up the physical activity so I can get to that Bhutan trek in 2013
  • Make a weekly effort to eat down the fridge and pantry
  • Finish a painting a month
  • Take a photo a day
  • Learn, learn, learn

I love to have lists with items that can be crossed off, so it was tougher to try and talk about intangibles.  I’ll know inside if I’ve accomplished what I've set out to do, but it’s a different way of looking at things for me.
