Pay it Forward Friday-Sports 4 All Foundation

I’ve had a bit of cork on the brain this week.  Today’s Pay it Forward feature is focused on the Sports 4 All Foundation whose mission is to improve the quality of life of individuals with disabilities by providing funding, equipment, programming and education to enable full participation in sports and recreational activities. 

One of their programs is Corks 4 Charity. They put together a lot of pieces to a puzzle I can get behind.  My mother-in-law worked for many years with adults with disabilities and today, I see my daughter possibly following in her footsteps.  It was amazing to see then, and to now watch the rewards and gratification they both have experienced in this field. Combine that with sports, artists and crafters and you just about cover all the bases.  So, if you find yourself with a collection of corks and have exhausted your DIY projects, get in touch with Sports for All and enjoy a little pay it forward yourself!

Corks 4 Charity is an ingenious fund-raising program that provides direct support for S4AF's programs and participants. Individuals, restaurants and retailers partner with Sports 4 All to collect wine and champagne corks. S4AF in turn sells the corks to artists and collectors all over the world on ebay.
