5 Reasons to Love My Weekend View No.18

There’s a rumor out there that summer is on it’s way, perhaps we’ll see some of it this weekend.  The air is definitely changing and I think this weekend’s view is great.
5 reasons no 13
  1. Peonies in my garden have popped to never before seen diameters {with my green thumb anyway}.  I was able to rescue a few in between rain storms and they are improving my indoor view.
  2. Maria Speck has written one of my favorite cookbooks-Ancient Grains for Modern Meals. It was such a pleasure to meet her and see that the view was even more lovely in person. Perfect addition to any kitchen where you are trying to eat healthier, reduce your carbon foot print and eat less meat.
  3. The view inside Joanne Rossman’s Roslindale store is always charming.  Filled to the brim with items you never knew you couldn’t live without, her curated selection is sure to please. Fluttering butterflies on branches await the beautiful wrapping you’ll leave with.
  4. These mushrooms and toadstools were a find at the Brimfield Antique Market earlier this year.  They made a great addition to the view of my outdoor plantings.
  5. I am not a golfer, but my husband loves the sport.  So every once and a while we play in a scotch.  Spending a late Friday afternoon outside, hearing the birds chirping and only having to hit every other shot is my kinda’ golfing view.
What do you have on tap for the weekend? I hope it’s glorious….
