Opening ceremonies for the Olympic games begin tonight. One of the things you'll be seeing on a regular basis if you're a big fan like I am, is the official victory bouquet.

Created by the London design studio of Jane Packer, it consists of 4 quadrants of British grown roses reflecting the 2012 logo, and is accented with wheat, and the fragrant herbs of lavender, rosemary and apple mint. This grouping provides a scent for the victorious athletes, while taking care not to be overpowering. The massive job of creating over 4,000 bouquets was helped along by key colleges in the UK with floristry programs.
The company has established 100% supply chain tracking for all of the flowers they use and their aim to present a bouquet that adheres to creativity and sustainability standards insures an Eco-friendly award for each of the athletes on the podium.
